Join Casey's Digital team as a Digital Operations/Delivery Manager!
The Digital Operations/Delivery Manager will lead the planning and execution of the digital product assortment, digital merchandising/promotional strategies, and Casey's E-Commerce, 3rd Party Marketplace, and delivery strategies. They will work with cross-functional teams to understand product and customer trends as well as revenue and gross profit impacts driven by digital channels.
- Responsible for hiring, training, salary administration, performance management, coaching and corrective actions for direct reports. Responsible for collaborating with team members on career development and goal setting. Acts as a champion of a committed and empowering culture, working with direct reports and team members on modeling Casey's values.
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations supporting digital
merchandising (digital product assortment and promotional configuration)
and e-commerce order fulfillment including owned and 3rd party delivery and
the in-store order fulfillment processes.
- Partners with Prepared Foods and Grocery Merchandising Teams to plan
assortment, pricing and promotions on our website, mobile apps, order
management system and third-party marketplaces.
- Partners with Business Intelligence and Guest Insights Teams to provide a view of our Delivery Business & Off-Premise Business. Leverages data and analytics to improve performance and impact on both Digital, Business Unit and Store P&L's.
- Build and optimize our Owned Delivery Model including planning, fulfillment and driver logistics. This includes optimizing stores with Owned Delivery Model, days and hours of delivery availability and utilization of technology to improve the processes and ultimately our guest experience.
- Serve as internal champion for the delivery business and point of contact for delivery-related initiatives. Develop processes to integrate delivery operations with all required internal departments.
- Work closely with IT and other partners to ensure overall functionality of the platform across touchpoints (store, website, app, internal systems) and design, develop, test, and implement new features, benefits, functionality, and integrations.
- Establish and regularly review key performance metrics related to E-Commerce, including measurement of operating performance and program success and prepare forecasts and financial budget for associated program costs.
- Responsible for administrative management of the program including CPG contracts, accounting management, and Vendor billing.

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $97,800 - $136,200. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance and an annual equity grant in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field of study, or equivalent work-related experience.
- At least seven years of experience in eCommerce, merchandising or category
management.
- Experience managing technology vendors and agency partners.
- Experience with managing budgets and completing financial analysis.
- Experience in retail, C-Stores or QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written business communication skills, which includes the ability to deliver presentations to individuals at all levels including executive leadership.
- Individual contributor, team leader and team player with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to leverage advertising/marketing practices, theories, techniques, and methodologies to deliver progress on department and company goals.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build professional relationships based on transparency and mutual respect between internal and external teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively as an individual contributor, team leader, and team player in a cross-functional environment, while fostering a culture of transparency and mutual respect between internal and external teams.
