The job:
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for meeting order goals from assigned accounts, specific industries and/or territory while achieving profitable margin performance. You will work to sell a portfolio of Revere services for assigned territory or accounts in support of the company's growth strategy. An active sales funnel of opportunities must be maintained to achieve the target annual sales goal.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:
- Meeting annual order targets across business lines and accurately forecasting monthly performance
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, and channel partners to generate qualified sales opportunities
- Identifying and developing new business through networking, lead generation, and CRM engagement
- Providing accurate job estimates and quotations aligned with company margin standards
- Executing structured customer engagement plans and maintaining detailed CRM records
- Acting as a customer advocate and ensuring responsive communication across the organization
- Producing customer testimonials and gathering regular NPS (Net Promoter Score) feedback
- Supporting marketing efforts, including campaign planning and participation in key trade shows
- Preparing timely business expense reports and supporting documentation
The ideal candidate brings industry experience in engineering, operations, or consulting, and is either a degreed Electrical Engineer with at least two years of experience or has five years of hands-on work in the controls field and will possess a strong understanding of control systems, industry application methods including software, networking, and PLCs.
