Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Provide engineering analysis and design of stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.
- Oversee and manage design and production of construction details, plans, specifications and estimates.
- Collaborate with clients, subconsultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
- Direct and mentor less-experienced support staff.
- Conduct engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; perform routine calculations, and participate in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
- Support business development efforts including proposal pursuit efforts.
- Help build relationships with key staff of clients, potential clients, teaming partners and contractors.
What you'll need
- Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Must have Professional Engineering Registration with the State.
- 8+ plus years of relevant, progressive transportation design experience.
- Drainage experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of DOT design standards and specifications.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Valid drivers license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
