General Laborer**
**Job Description**
This position requires working from Monday to Thursday, with start times varying between 6 AM and 7 AM, concluding at 5 PM. The role involves working on commercial and industrial job sites, with a schedule consisting of four 10-hour days. Candidates will initially work in the shop, pre-making ductwork, and then proceed to commercial buildings for installation tasks. This position is ideal for apprentices, involving basic tasks such as holding items in place, final installations, clean-up, and accessory installation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork into ceiling spaces in new commercial buildings.
+ Help make and install HVAC registers and grills for ductwork systems.
+ Fit elbows for ductwork before arriving onsite.
+ Perform basic tasks such as holding items in place, cleaning up, and installing parts/accessories.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as a sheetmetal worker.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Knowledge of general labor tasks.
+ Understanding of HVAC systems and ductwork.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6 months of construction or installation experience preferred.
+ Mechanically inclined entry-level candidates interested in a long-term HVAC career.
+ Valid driver's license preferred.
