Job Title: Custom Equipment Welder Fabricator

Employee Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1^st^ Shift

Location: 743 Main St. Coopersville, MI 49404 OR 136 Mason Dr. Coopersville, MI 49404.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00. (pay issued based on experience) + bonus + benefits

**Job Tasks:**

- Reading a blueprint and building equipment consistent with the print

- MIG welding, hardwire/spray transfer welding, full fabrication required

- Verify weldments are within specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes

- Move parts into position either manually or with a hoist or crane

- Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, punch, and drill components, such as:

- handheld plasma cutters

- grinders

- drill presses

- iron worker

- Lay out and examine weldments to ensure that specifications are met

- Tack-weld fitted parts together

- De-burr, prep, and tag parts and weldments for next process

- Check parts to ensure they are within the Quality Control program guidelines

**Job Requirements:**

- **2+ years of welding/fabrication experience required**

- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Proficient at reading a tape measure

- Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

- Previous experience driving a hilo

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- 18 years or older

- Must have a valid driver's license
