A day in the life:
+ Use your Refrigeration skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain small to large sized/complex refrigeration systems and associated control systems
+ Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to refrigeration equipment and associated components
+ Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components; primary area of expertise is evaporative condensers, large control systems, and complex conventional electrical controls. Industrial Refrigeration Systems including ammonia, cascade and rack systems with the ability to rebuild commercial/industrial compressors
+ Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times; this applies to the individual as well as his/her truck, tools, and equipment as well as customer property
+ Obtain purchase orders, properly utilize P-cards and make small purchases required during the performance of work
+ Manage, maintain, and document usage of all vehicle inventory through company purchases, internal logging and mandated checks (inventory includes ColonialWebb supplied tools as well as materials purchased into the truck warehouse inventory by ColonialWebb to be used at a customer site for an emergency repair)
You should have:
+ Experience at diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems (i.e., cooler display cases, reach-in's, walk-in boxes, and ice machines) and related controls
+ Rack refrigeration experience (preferred, not required)
+ Universal EPA certification
+ Highschool diploma or equivalent
+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand.Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
