The Pipefitters are responsible for accomplishing work in accordance with work specifications safely, with the highest quality and in a professional manner.

Visual Requirements: Must be able to pass a Standard Jaegers Test chart for near vision acuity reading J1 letters or equivalent with or without corrective aids and pass a color vision test using Ishiharas Tests for Color Deficiency.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPSThis position reports to shop supervisor. This position develops and maintains a positive working relationship with other Pipefitters and supports a team approach in the pursuit of common company goals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for effective, efficient and safe accomplishment of all assigned tasks.

UNIQUE/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSRegular, reliable attendance on-site is an essential function of the job. Weekend work and/or extended hours may be required. Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels.
Pay Range: $29.72 - $38.99 Hourly
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. At NASSCO Bremerton we anticipate making salary offers between the minimum and midpoint of salary range. Offers will be based on experience, abilities, and knowledge similar to the NASSCO Job being applied for NASSCO employees performing similar work.
