With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a Journeyman Electrician to our dynamic team.
Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401 (available after a year of service)
Available Shift: 7:30am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend availability is required
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading electrical projects, ensuring that installations and repairs are carried out to code, and providing guidance and supervision to junior electricians.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of electrical trade functions in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read, interpret and understand electrical /mechanical blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install AC and DC circuits of various voltages, power distribution systems, fire detection/suppression systems, HVAC systems, VFDs and Programmable Logic Controllers, motor controllers, lighting systems, and controls
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities electrical and/ or mechanical equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, water and waste systems, etc.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Maintain PMs and WOs for all areas of responsibility using the facilitys CMMS system
- Perform other general duties as assigned by management
- Florida State Electrician or Journeyman's License (Electrician)
- Must have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Complete understanding of National Electric Code (NFPA 70 and 70E)
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
