Underground Utility Foreman

Underground Utility Foreman Location: Westerville, OH Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time A well-established site development contractor is seeking an experience Underground Utility Foreman to oversee field operations on commercial and mission-critical construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong underground utility experience who can manage crews, ensure safety and quality compliance, and deliver work on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily crew activities on active construction sites Lead installation of stormwater systems, water mains, and sanitary sewers Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes Communicate daily with project management, inspectors, and subcontractors Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation Enforce company safety policies and lead by example Mentor and support team development Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of underground utility construction experience At least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role preferred Deep knowledge of excavation, trench safety, grading, and utility installation Proven ability to manage crews and coordinate with multiple stakeholders Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with 6% match fully vested Day 1 Paid Time Off and Holidays Paid Parental and Pregnancy Medical Leave Performance bonuses and advancement opportunities First-day benefits eligibility
