Welders Immediate Need. Local, not traveling $25 an hour, plus OT

Hello, we have an immediate need for welders locally in the Greenville area. This is full time position, not contract. Currently working 40 hours a week but will eventually go to 5 10's Monday through Friday with ocassional Saturdays. 25 an hour, pay raise after 60 days.

The Welder is responsible for ensuring that all welding processes are being executed properly, and while welding on the fabricated pipe spools, you are following the customer specifications and WPS required to complete the weld.. It is essential to have extensive knowledge of each weld process and associated procedures to be able to ensure conformity and quality welds.

Essential Functions of the job:

Perform work under direct supervision of the welding supervisor and shop superintendent.

Ensure all PPE is being worn, safety policies and procedures are being adhered to.
Ability to read and understand all isometrics and 2D spool drawings.
Knowledge of welding various types of material.
Understand how to determine what WPSs are required for the weld that is being produced. Experience of welding process to include GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, & STT
Be able to pass a 6G 2 carbon steel monster coupon test. Radiograph or bend test will be performed and needs to pass.
Be able to pass a 6G position 2 stainless steel schedule 10 test. Visual test only (No I.D color allowed)

Non-Essential Skills and Experience (not required, but would be a plus)
Ability to operate mobile equipment when needed.
Experience in Automatic Welding
Ability to understand Radiographic Testing overlays
