Medium Voltage Electrician

This medium voltage electrician will ensure the availability and distribution of electrical power to the campuses through the following systems: energy management (EMCS), lighting, power for telecommunications, computer network, and a multitude of other power applications including being responsible for the computerized Power Management Control System (PMCS). They will inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Also responsible for the computerized PMCS system to ensure that the emergency power is provided appropriated when an outage occurs. This position will pay between $61,380-$67,524 a year.

Completion of vocational/trades school with job experience in electrical trades
Resident of Colorado

At least 2 years of commercial industry experience

Journeyman Electrical License

600-1380 volts is range needed for medium voltage

Oral communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner

Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
