Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando. Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. Job Summary:

The Project Manager will provide a wide range of support for the Central Florida Division's Consumer Strategy and Design team. The core responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of division-wide projects and consumer initiatives by ensuring smooth and effective workflows and meeting established deadlines. The Project Manager provides direct support to Product and Program Managers in addition to the Director to support agility. The primary focus is on documentation, logistics and strategic planning for all active design projects across the team. This includes maintaining project plans in collaboration with Product Managers, tracking and managing project budgets and vendor payments, and creating accountability by proactively driving agendas, meeting notes and follow ups for key workstreams. This includes cross-functional collaboration and ensuring project management and tracking is occurring within the appropriate processes and tools. The Project Manager will help develop project timelines based on strategic prioritization, planning, and resource utilization. This role is cross-functional as it works closely with workstreams across the consumer scope and interfaces with consumer leaders from the different business entities across the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. In addition, the Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Strategy & Design and supports the development and management of agendas, presentations, and team budgets.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Develops, and/or partners with other assigned product managers or initiative leaders to ensure the development of, the full project plan for each initiative according to standards set by the consumer team.

  • Project plans include, but are not limited to, project scope of work, project timelines, communication plan and updates to appropriate stakeholders, project deliverables, defined measurements, metrics, activation, and sustainment strategies for all Consumer Strategy & Design projects undertaken.

  • Maintains visibility into all projects within Consumer Strategy & Design scope so leadership can evaluate and execute rapid decision making on strategic initiatives; Develop an overall project view focused on critical priorities to help move projects along and mitigate issues whenever appropriate. This includes maintaining a balanced scorecard to report on key metrics.

  • Monitor project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems, and proactively identify and present solutions to management.

  • Collaborates with internal and external subject matter expert stakeholders to understand processes and timelines in order to build accurate and integrated project timelines and deliverables.

  • Develop personnel and operational budgets reflecting appropriate funding for all relevant functions and programs. Monitor and evaluate spending with a goal of maximizing cost-effectiveness of operations. Produce financial and operational reports as requested.

  • Manage and regularly update all project details in our project management system.

  • Maintain records of project plans and materials.

  • Build compelling presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver agreed upon requirements, through timely and accurate documentation and effective management of partners to meet key deliverables.

  • Proactively develops agendas and presentation materials for key meetings.

Qualifications

What Will You Need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's

  • 5 Related Experience

  • Displays high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Possesses strong skills in organization, prioritization, and able to complete large amounts of work effectively and efficiently

  • Demonstrated superior matrix management and partnering skills; Ability to thrive in a dynamic hands-on environment that requires a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple business units

  • Ability to understand, explain, and suggest interrelationships between business and technology strategies; Ability to learn and use strong business acumen to support strategic alignment of initiatives

Preferred:

  • Master's Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Certification related to change management
