MSG is seeking a full-time Structural Drafter to work on transportation and bridge projects in the state of Ohio. This person will participate in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, concept development, construction documents, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and production of detailed drawings in MicroStation to comply with ODOT and local agency requirements.
• Development and production of construction plans sufficient for bidding and for construction.
• Preparation of data and calculation of quantities, areas, etc. customary civil engineering plan design.
• Plotting, collating and compiling plan sets as required for agency and construction submittals.
• General office and administrative tasks including, but not limited to, couriering, scanning, copies, document preparation, filing, etc.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering
• 2+ years of bridge design experience required
• Experience with Microstation
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
