- Define activities, durations, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop and implement the scope of work plan.
- Develop milestones to represent key decisions and deliverables during execution.
- Ensure all logic and activities support the required level of detail and meet internal standards.
- Develop fully integrated outage schedules, including resource loading and leveling for complex scope execution teams.
- Mentor and assist junior schedulers, organizing schedule review meetings and incorporating appropriate details.
- Engage team and stakeholders to create schedules and provide schedule analysis updates.
- Communicate schedule status to project stakeholders and guide the administration of project management standards.
- Adhere to project management governance standards and assist in security profile and role assignments.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with scope of work schedules.
- Mentor and train junior schedulers in preparing and analyzing metric reports, developing what-if schedules, and crashing schedule durations.
- Perform schedule and cost integration, including SPI/CPI processes, and provide risk assessments with mitigation actions.
- 7 years' qualified experience with a High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years with an Associate's degree, or 3 years with a Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of Primavera experience required.
- Utility-specific operations knowledge with experience in design, operations planning, project management, cost tracking, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ability to develop complex spreadsheets.
- Proficient in reviewing scope, client requirements, and project delivery strategies.
- Professional or trade certification preferred, such as CCMP, CETa, IQCP, PMP, RMP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working under general supervision.
The role requires travel to plant sites during outages and involves light physical duties at various work sites, including home and AEP locations, in varying conditions. It may involve construction site walkdowns, climbing ladders, and awareness of hazardous conditions. Availability for overtime, call-out overtime, and shift work is required, following the PCC Travel Policy.
