Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures, detail-oriented.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
Work with external CPA.
Reconcile bank accounts
Process invoices and credit card statements.
Track accounts receivable monthly, collection efforts required.
Good phone etiquette and customer service skills
Human resource management including benefit enrollment, handling HR complaints/problems, hiring/termination protocol and paperwork, maintenance of staff records and personnel files maintaining employment records, working directly with all employees, and staying current with employment regulations
Working knowledge of construction Prevailing Wage guidelines
Working knowledge of Mechanics Lien laws
Maintaining company's physical and electronic records, including contracts and agreements, accounting files, spreadsheets, and personnel records
Policy and procedural development, implementation, and updating
Qualifications:
2 year Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years experience in construction field
Professional attitude and a positive team player
Foundation Accounting Program knowledge a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Punctual and dependable
The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office.
