Mechanical Engineer

Torch Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our integration team within our TMAS2 contract effort.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with mechanical engineering experience. Position description is below:

• Evaluate contractor proposals for executable plans for major refurbishment and conversion of B-52 pylons and rotary launchers in support of new missile program.

• Manage and technically evaluate changes to design and production documentation.

• Analyze and inspect components for structural integrity and corrosion.

• Review and provide recommended changes to drawing packages.

• Review and evaluate mechanically-oriented program and production process documentation and quality standards.

• Evaluate production Validation and Verification and test plans.

• Recommend suitable substitutions for obsolete parts and evaluate deviations and variations to approved documentation.

Must have a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline.

• Must possess 2 years' experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance.

• Must be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance.

Preferred Skills:

BS degree with 3 years' experience in engineering capacity, specifically integration

Active Top Secret clearance is desired

Additional Notes

This position requires candidates to possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position. This requirement is a condition of employment and must be maintained throughout tenure.

This position is located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
