JOB SUMMARY
Performs basic contract administration, non-complex pricing, sales order maintenance and project initiation. Duties include reviewing and responding to RFPs and RFQs, initiating pricing requests, transmitting quotes and proposals to customers, reviewing contract documents, initiating sales orders, executing electronic proposals and contract actions, and preparing business correspondence. Also provides administrative support to the Contracts and EVMS/Pricing departments.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Business related degree preferred
- Previous work or internship experience a plus
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain DoD security clearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review RFPs and RFQs.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Prepare staff and submit non-complex proposals both in "hard copy" and electronically.
- Verify accuracy of contracts / purchase orders as related to price, delivery and terms and conditions.
- Transmit executed contracts to the customer; initiate supporting sales orders to the organization and monitor contract and delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate, complete and current contract files.
- Maintain company's contract log.
- Perform routine customer follow-up and coordination.
- When required, work with accounting to resolve payment problems.
- Assist CA's and price estimators with the administration and processing of all spares and repairs.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, staffing and submission of complex technical and price proposals.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of Cost Estimating Relationships (CER's), historical cost databases and files.
- Assist in the development of Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting requirements including Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR's) encompassing funding requirements, termination/liability and expenditure/commitment plans.
- Gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of Government contract administration, the governing rules, regulations and laws, product and program pricing, negotiations, and cost analysis.
- Assist with export administration functions on an as-required basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $67,418 - $108,839.
