Eaton's Electrical Division is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This position will be a hybrid office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) role as long as you live within 50 miles of our Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation benefits and sponsorship will be provided within the United States only.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $74,250 - $108,900 a year.

What you'll do:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of 3-phase power conversion and distribution products from initial proposal through end of support for the power conversion market. This role is responsible for engaging in large scale global platform engineering activities across the functions of electrical, mechanical, and embedded software engineering to develop Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Energy Storage products, EV Charging and associated Accessories.
In this role you will:
- Develop incremental additions to our product portfolio including three phase UPS systems and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure products
- Diagnose and resolve reliability issues of our deployed products
- Educate and inform internal company representatives and end customers on our products capabilities

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of Engineering experience (internship included)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Electro-mechanical exposure
- Knowledge of high-power product design consideration
- Knowledge of three-phase power systems, power electronics, and power conversion topologies
- Lab experience with testing products or electrical components
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and requirements
