Electrician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and other components. The Commercial Electrician will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and standards. The role involves service work, which includes traveling between various job sites. A company vehicle will be provided after the training period, and the candidate will participate in an on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform various phases of new commercial work, including trench work, bending pipe, pulling wires, working off blueprints, installation, conduit, and fixtures.

+ Demonstrate safe work habits and possess all personal protective equipment (PPE) while maintaining proper care for tools and equipment.

+ Work on both ground-up projects and existing building structures, indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

+ Ensure adherence to safety standards, including OSHA10 or OSHA30 regulations.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repair work as needed.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

**Essential Skills**

+ Electrical wiring and installation

+ Conduit bending and running conduit

+ Troubleshooting electrical systems

+ Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

+ Commercial and low voltage electrical work

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program

+ Valid electrician license is a huge plus

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician

+ Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes

+ Ability to work independently and in teams

+ Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces

**Work Environment**

The work involves a mix of industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects. The typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. There is opportunity for overtime if desired. The work environment may involve getting dirty at job sites, and the role requires working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Greenville, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
