Electrician

Job Description

Candidates will be supporting the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia. This involves installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for resolving situations.
• Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Determine the method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches, and conduit.

• 5-10 years of experience as a commercial construction electrician.
• Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
• Valid Driver's license.

• Experience on 10-50k square foot projects.
• Experience working in data centers or mission critical facilities is preferred.

Non-exempt employees who are asked to work on a Holiday will be eligible for Double Time pay for those hours. Under no circumstances will any employee be eligible for more than Double Time

• Paid Time Off - Regularly scheduled full-time employees are eligible to accrue up to 160 hours of PTO per calendar year, which will accrue at 3.08 hours weekly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.

Work in Data Centers in Prince William County and Loudon County.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
