Employees will drive tractors and operate towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize crops such as corn, soy beans and wheat. Crops raised for forage for the animals feed will need to be cut, raked and baled. They will relocate materials, supplies or feed to designated locations. Minor maintenance will need to be done on all equipment, structures and grounds. Workers will help with the calving of the herd and care for the new born by ear tagging, detecting sickness and administrating shots if needed. They will help with the task of fixing fence by using pliers, fencing stretcher and operating skid steer and fork lift. Employees must be able to work independently after given instructions, must be self motivated and be a team player.
Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. NO TEXTING.
No smoking in housing unit, machinery or vehicles. No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours otherwise discouraged. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
No Educational level required. Cattle experience is necessary as well as fixing fence.
Operate John Deere and Case tractors with towed implements and feeder wagons with computerized scale monitors will be used for feeding cattle.
Must have three months of operating John Deere and Case tractors with towed implements and operate computerized scale monitors for feeding cattle.
Employees must have a valid driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
