Compensation for this position includes a competitive base wage and annual uncapped profit based bonus plan tied to company goals and profitability. CAS offers competitive medical, dental, vision insurance; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401k plan.

Key Responsibilities:

SAFETY

Communicate and coach on safety policies, behaviors, and targets.

Provide training on safety strategies including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), hazard identification, and SHARP certification.

Oversee corrective action systems and safety follow-up processes.

DELIVERY

Ensure adequate materials and labor to meet production targets.

Participate in weekly planning and long-term forecasting.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.

QUALITY

Set and uphold standard processes, practices, and quality systems.

Coach teams to improve and follow standards.

Support team members in identifying and resolving quality issues.

LEADING TEAMS

Use performance improvement cycles to grow team capabilities.

Reinforce and coach on Cambridge values.

Foster engagement through shared vision and collaborative goals.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Promote a customer-focused mindset and improvement behaviors.

Lead CI efforts using tools like 2SL, 5S, and RCA to prevent issues and enhance efficiency.

Develop team CI skills relevant to their area.

Accountabilities:

Safe work environments with strong hazard prevention and incident management.

Meet or exceed product delivery goals (90% OTD target).

Strong participation in quality systems with measurable improvements.

Building independent, aligned teams with strategic goal achievement.

Continuous progress toward full team engagement and development.

Requirements

Education:

Associate's Degree required

Experience:

2+ years as a Team Lead in manufacturing

Certifications:

Lean Certification preferred or equivalent experience

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Office Suite, ERP, CMMS, HRIS, and project management software systems
