As an Electrical Engineer at CMTA, youll play a vital role in designing critical building systems that power the spaces where people live, work, learn, and heal. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team that values innovation, continuous learning, and real-world impact.
**What Youll Do**
+ Design and develop electrical systems for a variety of building types, including:
+ Electrical distribution and standby/emergency power systems
+ Lighting design (interior/exterior), lighting controls, and photometric analysis
+ Fire alarm, life safety, security, and communications systems
+ Energy conservation and code compliance strategies
+ Prepare one-line diagrams, load calculations, and panel schedules
+ Perform conductor sizing and voltage drop calculations
+ Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines and architects to deliver integrated designs
+ Contribute to project documentation: meeting minutes, weekly progress reports, submittal reviews, RFIs, and punch lists
+ Support project management and construction administration phases
+ Apply your knowledge of NEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and applicable codes and standards
**What You Bring**
+ BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
+ 3-5 years of experience in building system design preferred
+ Experience with AGI for lighting photometrics
+ Proficient with AutoCAD and experience with REVIT
+ PE license strongly preferred
+ Knowledge of Electrical design and applicable codes.
+ Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
+ Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and customers.
