**Job Description**

Satisfy tooling orders daily to support the manufacturing and tooling department schedules. This includes tool refurbishment, weld repair, unit tool deliveries, and general tooling coordination. Maintain department goals and projects, while improving operational effectiveness.

**Responsibilities**

+ Proficiently use the inner shield wire welder.

+ Possess furnace knowledge for preheating and post-heating dies.

+ Set up and use automatic welding positioners.

+ Maintain welder cables and wire feed.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

+ Weld tools for the tooling department using stick and TIG welding techniques.

+ Inspect parts to ensure quality.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in stick and TIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with welding tools and equipment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Must have 3+ years of welding experience.

+ Must own personal welding gear.

**Work Environment**

The position is based in a large manufacturing setting, specifically within the tooling department. The work environment is described as a 'dirty' environment, which is typical of the nature of the job. The opening is for the 2nd shift.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
