Gibson Energy is hiring a Millwright at our Hardisty facility a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of our infrastructure. Whether you're a seasoned journeyperson or a 3rd-year apprentice ready to grow, we want to hear from you.

What Youll Be Doing

As part of our maintenance team, youll:

Perform repairs and overhauls on a wide range of equipment including compressors, turbines, pumps, and mixers.
Support safe and efficient operations by aligning equipment, replacing seals and bearings, and installing new machinery.
Use machine tools such as lathes, drills, and grinders to complete precision work.
Monitor pump vibration and contribute to our predictive maintenance program.
Collaborate with other trades and departments to complete work safely and efficiently.
Operate heavy equipment when required and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and environmental protection procedures.

What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone who is:

A Journeyperson Millwright or a 3rd-year apprentice working toward certification.
A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights, with the physical mobility to perform hands-on tasks.
Proficient in reading blueprints and using business software.
Familiar with vibration analysis or willing to learn.
A clear communicator who takes pride in their work and supports others in doing the same.
In possession of a valid drivers license and a Grade 12 diploma (or equivalent).

Working Conditions

Field-based role in an outdoor environment PPE provided.
9/80 schedule: Work Monday to Thursday in 9-hour shifts, with alternating Fridays off or worked as 8-hour days giving you a long weekend every second week while averaging 80 hours over two weeks.
May involve working at heights and near hazardous materials.

The acquisition strengthens Gibson's cash flow with over 95% of the revenue under take-or-pay contracts with high-quality counterparties.
