Senior Superintendent

We are looking for a Senior Superintendent for a Commercial Construction company in Orlando, FL.

Salary: $125,000-$150,000

Position Objective: Plan, lead, and coordinate all field activities for construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution
Develop thoughtful project pre-plans, baseline schedules, and continuous updates to current project schedules.
Coordinate all phases of construction, including subcontractor management, materials, and equipment.
Utilize tools such as Procore and mobile applications for documentation of daily reports, field changes/events, T&M work, meetings, toolbox talks, and safety issues.
Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
Identify and address errors or omissions in contract documents and resolve conflicts effectively.

Team Leadership
Lead foremen and craft employees, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and productivity.
Engagein sound hiring and motivational practices to develop team capabilities.
Monitor work performance and efficiency to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
Conduct weekly toolbox talks and training sessions, ensuring 100% compliance with required certifications.

Financial Management
Maintain budget adherence by proactively managing costs and tracking change orders.
Ensure timely processing of delivery tickets, material usage, and labor hour documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of cost-control measures.

Stakeholder Communication
Maintain effective liaison with project management, field engineering, estimating, and subcontractors.
Keep senior management, owners, architects, and design professionals informed on project progress and issues.
Schedule and lead stakeholder update meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Operational Efficiency
Monitor and optimize equipment utilization to minimize downtime.
Ensure timely submission of daily field reports and accurate punch list completion.
Conduct onsite inspections and audits to ensure operational excellence and adherence to safety standards.

Safety and Compliance
Create and maintain a culture of safety awareness throughout the job site.
Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and maintain required safety records.
Conduct regular safety audits and immediately address violations or incidents.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in construction management or equivalent technical training and experience.
Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, and cost control.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Procore, and other project management software.
OSHA 30-hour certification required.
Valid drivers license and ability to meet site-specific badging requirements.
