Responsibilities In this role as SeniorMechanical Engineer, it will be focused on facility assessments forthe New York State Office of General Services facility assessmentprogram. The ideal candidate will have extensive experienceevaluating facilities and preparing reports to support strategicdecision-making and resource allocations. Additionalresponsibilities will include: - Conduct comprehensive assessmentsof facilities for NYS OGS portfolio of buildings, adhering toestablished protocols and standards - Collaborate with projectstakeholders to define assessment criteria and objectives alignedwith mission of LiRo-Hill and NYS OGS - Utilize industry leadingmethodologies and tools to gather, analyze, and present assessmentdata effectively - Develop detailed Improvement Plans thateffectively prioritize facility upgrades and renovations based onassessment data and program priorities - Engage withinterdisciplinary teams to integrate assessment results intoconceptual design for cost estimation and scheduling team members -Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the programQualifications - Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in MechanicalEngineering - Licenced PE with significant experience in facilityassessments - 10-15 years of industry experience - Proven trackrecord of managing assessments for public agencies or governmentalorganizations - Familiarity with NYS OGS procedures a significantplus - Strong knowledge of building systems and constructionmethodologies, with experience evaluating diverse facility types -Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technicalinformation clearly to diverse audiences - A detailed-orientedmindset committed to accuracy and precision in assessmentmethodologies and reporting - Knowledge of Uniformat Group IIclassifications system a plus We are committed to your success, andwe invest in your growth and development to unlock your fullpotential. - Competitive Total Compensation Package - Employee-Only Stock Purchase Plan - Mentoring programs - ContinuingEducation Program - Employee referral bonus - Volunteer/Industryassociation opportunities Our Culture: We believe in the power ofcollaboration.
