Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Forklift Operator in either the Production Department or the Warehouse Department, where you'll play a crucial role in our seamless operations. In the warehouse, you will be unloading raw materials from semi trucks, including bins of vegetables, barrels, palletized products such as glass, lids, labels, and film. You'll also be loading palletized finished products onto semi trucks and manually depalletizing shipments into smaller orders, with the heaviest item weighing 25 pounds. In production, you'll be responsible for transporting raw materials from the warehouse to the production lines and moving finished products to the warehouse for staging and prepping for truck loading. Comfort with getting on and off the forklift and assisting production lines is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload raw materials from semi trucks and load palletized finished products onto semi trucks.
+ Manually depalletize shipments into smaller orders.
+ Comfortably operate sit down forklifts, both gas and electric.
+ Transport raw materials from the warehouse to production lines.
+ Move finished products to the warehouse for staging and prepping.
+ Assist production lines using hoses and spraying if needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Forklift operation, sit down forklifts (gas or electric).
+ Knowledgeable with 2 fork forklifts, loading and unloading.
+ Understanding of loading patterns.
+ SAP System proficiency.
+ Inventory processes knowledge.
+ Forklift safety expertise.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of recent forklift experience.
+ Experience on a sit down forklift in the last 6 months.
+ At least one year of recent sit down forklift experience.
+ Spend at least half of the day (4-6 hours) on a forklift.

Operate in a GMP regulated environment, requiring hand washing, hair nets, beard nets, and blue smocks. Adherence to GMP standards means no nails, lashes, polish, jewelry, earrings, or cell phones in the production area. The facility works with strong-smelling ingredients like vinegar, pepperoncini, jalapenos, and olives, so comfort with pungent odors is necessary.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.71 - $22.71/hr.
