Senior Architectural Technician

Job Description

The successful candidate will take responsible charge for and perform responsibilities on assigned projects. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution and completion of architectural projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Architect and/or Manager.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and client representatives to facilitate project design documents.
  • Coordinate project designs with other disciplines to determine needs, resolve problems, and provide technical information.
  • Attend meetings with owners, clients, or other designers as needed.
  • Perform field measurements, building evaluations, and other existing building documentation to facilitate the project scope.
  • Conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and standard building code.
Essential Skills
  • Expert in REVIT.
  • Experience in architectural drafting and design.
  • Experience with municipal, K-12, and higher education facilities.
  • Experience working with state agencies and/or medical agencies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Diploma in Architectural Drafting.
  • Ten or more years of applicable experience in the architectural design discipline.
  • Experience in architectural design with a variety of projects, including municipal, K-12, and higher education facilities.
Work Environment

The candidate will work on-site in the office with a 40-hour work week, offering flexible hours, and half-day Fridays. The dress code is business casual, with the option to wear jeans and a company shirt on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.75 - $36.00/hr.
