Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for collaborating closely with clients and coordinating both internal and external resources to ensure project success. This role involves managing large corporate restaurant and retail clients, with a focus on construction management and site leadership to fulfill design intent and deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer resources to achieve design intent, quality, and value engineering.
- Manage prototyping, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer support.
- Define goals, objectives, and expectations with the client and develop necessary support and production plans.
- Create and manage project timelines alongside department heads.
- Monitor prototype development and production from physical products, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Work with client representatives to develop corrective actions.
- Develop quality and value-engineering opportunities with engineering and production departments.
- Ensure smooth flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods by collaborating with materials management, production supervisors, and scheduling.
- Develop cost and pricing estimates.
- Manage inventory to maximize turns and reduce waste in collaboration with material management.
- Conduct quality checks with subcontract resources by visiting locations as necessary.
- Engage with clients to increase business share.
- 3-5 years of experience in client-facing project management within store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction.
- Minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings for interior finishes and millwork needs.
- Intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Global Shop ERP systems.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction, Architecture, Millwork, Woodworking, or Fixture Design.
