**About us:**

This SME role will provide subject matterexpertiseto support the Technical Services & Solutions (TSS) Program in the Bay Area, ensuring alignment with engineering, facilities, and operational priorities. The role will focus on technical advisory, process optimization, and strategic program development rather than day-to-day operational execution.

A highly strategic individual, the SME will act as a trusted advisor for the Client, supporting innovation, best practices, and technical program alignment. The role will drive improvements in technical service delivery through data analysis, technology enablement, and cross-functional collaboration.

**What you'll do:**

Technical Expertise & Advisory

+ Serve as an SME in technical services, providing guidance on building systems, asset management, and technical risk mitigation.

+ Collaborate with teams to ensure TSS strategies align with long-term facilityobjectives.

+ Research and recommend emerging technologies for maintenance and reliability improvements.

Program Support & Standardization

+ Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical playbooks for TSS program initiatives.

+ Ensure consistency in service delivery by sharing best practices from other regions and integrating lessons learned.

+ Support CAPEX planning, asset lifecycle strategies, and risk management frameworks.

Performance Optimization & Data-Driven Decision Making

+ Conduct data analysis on work orders, system reliability, and maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

+ Provide recommendations for predictive and smart maintenance strategies to enhance building performance.

+ Support the evaluation of vendor performance to ensure alignment with program goals.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

+ Partner with client technical services teams to drive alignment between operations, engineering, and workplace services.

+ Provide guidance on compliance, safety, and engineering standards in collaboration with EHS teams.

+ Act as a liaison between Bay Area TSS initiatives and global/regional technical service teams.

Interaction with the Field Delivery Team to Ensure Alignment

The Technical Services SME Bay Area will play a critical role in bridging the gap between strategic technical initiatives and field execution, ensuring that the Technical Services & Solutions (TSS) Program is effectively implemented across all operational sites. This role will serve as a liaison between technical leadership, program management, and the field delivery teams, ensuring that all initiatives align with clients operationalobjectivesand service expectations.

+ **What Youll Need:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

+ Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

+ Experience preferred in developing and managing organizational budgets.

+ PE Certification preferred

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $220,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.
