Electrician - Facilities Full Time

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits from 24 VDC to 480 VAC / 3 phase.
• Install and / or re-direct electrical circuits as needed.
• Complete work orders as requested.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blue prints
• Install electrical raceways.
• Re-lamp throughout property as necessary.
• Operate machinery and equipment as required (such as fork lift). Will train if necessary.
• Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members.
• Take a leadership role in reporting and correcting unsafe work practices or unsafe facility conditions.
• Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Perform related work as requested.

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years as a Journeyman electrician required. At least two years in the hotel / casino environment as an electrician preferred.

EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED.

SKILLS: Ability to learn and understand of all company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with staff. Read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE : Valid Nevada Drivers License with excellent driving history.
