Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment, with a strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and work orders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
+ Handle maintenance tasks on conveyor systems, filler machines, and case erectors.
+ Work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
+ Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment performing maintenance.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
+ Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and work orders.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with conveyor systems maintenance is highly preferred.
+ Ability to work on filler machines and case erectors.
**Work Environment**
The maintenance openings are available on shifts A and C. Shift A operates from 12am to 8am, and shift C from 4pm to 12am. There are different pay levels based on experience, with Mechanic A at $31.20 and Mechanic B at $23.61. There are shift differentials of $0.25 for C shift and $0.30 for A shift. Attendance is crucial, with only two occurrences of absence allowed in the first 90 days.

The pay range for this position is $49628.00 - $65520.00/yr.
The client is part of the United Steelworkers Union, which has solid benefits packages, 6% 401k match after a year, and employees also receive prorated vacation days, sick days, and personal days
