Foreman

The Equix team isbuilt on pride in the workmanship and abilities of our crews. Our Core group ofin-house welders have extensive knowledge and background in pipeline andfabrication welding. We have a current opening for a Foreman. At Equix, wesupport our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceedexpectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, GasDistribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction andFabrication, and Trenching services.

Responsibilities:

Leading the crews with clear communication skillsSafe operation of construction equipment and work vehicles used inunderground installation of natural gas distribution piping, power, and telecominfrastructureTake responsibility for quality of work, proper care of assigned equipmentand report an accidents/incidents to SupervisorsAdhere to and promote company and DOT Safety PoliciesOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience with backhoes, excavators, and underground utilitiesValid driver's license with clean recordAbility to pass pre-employment and random drug screeningTravel out of town to work on remote sites when neededWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsKnowledge with Locating underground lines and HDD RiggingMust be able to perform the physical demands of the jobClass A or B CDL
