Our HVAC Apprentice / Energy Services Assistant will be responsible for assisting in assembling, installing, servicing and repairing customer heating, air conditioning and other HVAC equipment
Hourly rate for this role will be $23.39/hr.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in assembling, installing, servicing and repairing customer heating, air conditioning and other HVAC equipment
- Responsible for independently performing maintenance tune ups for customer cooling and heating equipment.
- Perform other technician supporting work as directed by the Company.
- These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, but represent the typical type of work performed by employees in this classification. The company reserves the right to add, modify or delete duties or responsibilities when appropriate. The company reserves the right to make assignments based on workload, scheduling, efficiency and customer needs.
- RI employees hired into the ESA classification will be placed into an apprenticeship path to obtain a RI Pipe Fitter Journeyperson OR RI Plumber Journeyperson AND a RI Refrigeration Journeyperson AND an EPA Universal 608 or Type II Certification.
- Employees hired into the ESA classification must enroll in State approved schooling, as directed by the Company, for the purpose of obtaining proper licensure (unless the employee already holds the required license)
Job Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required
- EPA type 2 or Universal license is required
- RI Journeyman Pipe Fitter license is required
- RI Refrigeration license is preferred but no a requirement
