Salary Range

$81,900.00 - $163,425.00

Overview The Project Manager, ARIA will support the vision and mission of the ARIA project high-quality recruitment and coordination services to support, lead and leverage resources across the organization as well as nationally to advance the Yale site. The Project Manager will collaborate with other project managers at Yale as well as several external sites, leaders and staff to leverage resources across the organization by identifying and monitoring systems and processes for patient and family satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.Principal Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversees the advancement and growth of the program recruitment and coordination. Gives direction and leadership supporting the philosophy, mission, strategy, and annual goals and objectives of ARIA. Assumes primary accountability for disseminating program information to create appropriate public awareness and support of the program.Works closely with leadership, internal and external colleagues, and national organizations to further develop and implement strategic plans.Identifies, solicits, and cultivates partnerships and collaborations to assist in the development and growth of the program. recruitment and coordination work streams and processes Develops the metrics to identify and measure the success of the program. Responsible for measurements of grant success and related evaluation required for progress reporting.Leads and facilitates the development of patient work streams to include reliable and sustainable safety and performance improvement plans, processes and activities to meet the mission and goals of ARIA. Serves as a patient and family advocate, quality improvement and project management expert in recruitment and coordination methodologies, analyses and problem solving.Develops the recruitment infrastructure of the program. Trains others in key concepts, skills and tool, and assesses the recruitment and coordination electronic data capture information systems, multi-location clinical flow, and space needs.Investigates, identifies, implements, and oversees the maintenance of systems to gather, track, and report information to support the initiatives of the ARIA program. Tracks all program recruitment and coordination activities and regularly informs leadership of progress on each initiative. Recommends structural or programmatic adjustments, changes or additions based on full knowledge of missions, goals, and objectives.Initiates, designs, and manages the compilation of program communications; identifying outreach potential, and promoting philanthropic and collaborative support of the program. Create, define and execute project plans, project phases, milestones, and success criteria.Develops and implements tools to prioritize, manage and monitor projects to assure the most efficient use of available resources, meet deadlines, address challenges and reach goals.Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities 1. Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage complex programs, aligning them with organizational mission, goals, and annual objectives. 2. Strong skills in cultivating partnerships, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and effectively communicating program goals and outcomes. Ability to represent the program to diverse audiences, promoting public awareness and garnering support. 3. Proficiency in developing and utilizing data systems to track, analyze, and report on program activities and performance metrics. 4. Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including defining project plans, milestones, timelines, and success criteria. Skilled in process improvement, resource prioritization, and problem-solving to enhance efficiency and performance. 5. Ability to train and support others in the use of tools, systems, and methodologies related to program recruitment and coordination. Proven experience with continuous quality improvement, safety initiatives, and the development of sustainable processes and workstreams. Preferred Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four years of related experience; or a combination of 10 years experience and education. Bilingual and ASL proficient.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Oversees the execution and implementation of detailed project plans in concert with stakeholders. 2. Manages several routine projects simultaneously and ensures that the design, testing, training, documentation and prioritization objectives are met. 3. Assists in refining and re-sequencing during the implementation and execution phases of assigned projects, as needed. 4. Works closely with business analysts, technical professionals, end users and project stake holders during the requirements, solutions design and implementation phases to develop detailed project plans for implementation. 5. Works on risk assessment, communication planning, development of performance metrics, and project entry criteria. 6. Creates detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion. 7. Manages client expectations and provides issue/risk identification and escalation pathways. 8. May supervise the implementation team of cross-functional project and technical resources. 9. Designs, develops, and executes communication systems to ensure effective exchange of information between project stakeholders, senior management, and staff. 10. Resolves complex project issues that involve representatives from multiple organizations. 11. Complies with standard policies and procedures. 12. May supervise and train junior project managers. 13. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Health Requirements

This role is a healthcare worker position. Healthcare workers (HCW) are defined as university employees working a healthcare setting who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients, human research subjects or infectious materials including body substance, contaminated medical supplies, devices and equipment, surfaces, or air. HCW have specific health requirements that must be met prior to starting work, including MMR vaccine or immunity, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or immunity, TB screening, COVID vaccine according to University policy, hepatitis B vaccine or immunity, and annual flu vaccination.
