Welder (MIG)**

Location: Chickasha, Oklahoma

Job Type: Contract to Hire

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician with expertise in MIG welding to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel components used in metal building construction. You will also have the opportunity to expand your skill set through cross-training in various departments within our manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel materials used in structural and building applications.

+ Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and fabrication instructions to ensure accurate assembly.

+ Participate in general metal fabrication and production tasks as needed.

+ Cross-train in other production areas to support team flexibility and workflow efficiency.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

+ Proficiency in MIG welding and steel fabrication techniques.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

+ Familiarity with TIG, stick, spray arc, and flux-core welding is a plus.

+ Must provide a personal welding hood.

**Work Schedule**

+ Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM 5:00 PM

+ Occasional Saturdays: 6:00 AM 10:00 AM

+ Average: 54 hours per week

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
