As a Senior CAD Technician, you will manage, draft, and design projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
Draft and design projects for transportation, transit, rail and more
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
Prepare plans and layouts generated in OpenRoads Designer software
Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics
Manage project data files from various sources
Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
Advanced skills using OpenRoads Designer with Plan Productions tools is a plus
Experienced in detailing as well as plan and profile, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, broadband, rail, transit and associated items
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
5-10 years' experience utilizing OpenRoads Designer/Microstation
Associates degree preferred; equivalent experience and training will be considered
