Pro Resources is seeking a highly skilled Upfit Mechanic for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with one of our trusted clients in Columbia City, IN. What Youll Be Doing:

• Perform truck and equipment upfits, including fabrication, mechanical assembly, and wiring
• Install and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and related components
• Complete electrical wiring on trucks and work equipment, ensuring function and compliance with safety standards
• MIG weld on steel components, typically to 1 thick
• Interpret work orders, technical drawings, and installation guidelines to complete jobs accurately
• Inspect and test installations to ensure everything operates correctly and meets customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following company safety procedures
• Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to meet project deadlines

What Were Looking For:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working on trucks or heavy equipment
• Solid understanding of automotive or equipment wiring and hydraulic systems
• Experience with MIG welding fabrication and/or repair experience is a plus
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or schematics
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a figure-it-out mindset
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
