Purpose & Scope of The Position:

The Seasonal TSF Construction Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient movement and placement of materials in support of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) maintenance and construction at the Robinson Mine in Ruth, NV.

This position requires skilled heavy equipment operators with experience operating dozers, graders, excavators, water trucks, and loaders. Operators must perform equipment operation and physical labor as required to support construction, earthwork, grade control, slope building, water management and site development activities. The work you do directly contributes to the safe, stable, and sustainable operation of our TSF and environmental controls.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy construction equipment including dozers, graders, excavators, water trucks, and loaders in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.

• Perform and document thorough pre-operational inspections.

• Conduct slot dozing, structural fill placement, and slope construction.

• Maintain grade control for compacted lift structural fill placement.

• Perform sloping to designed construction angles.

• Maintain haul roads using graders and perform trenching and berm building with excavators.

• Excavator general utility work building berms, fill placement, and trenching.

• Perform general physical labor as needed to support project requirements.

• Recognize and address hazardous situations promptly to ensure safety.

• Follow all state and federal regulations and company safety/environmental policies.

• Participate in shift meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Work Experience & Training:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment in open-pit mining, or large-scale earthwork.
• Proven proficiency operating dozers, graders, and excavators in slope building, pad development, and lift construction.
• Strong focus on safety and quality of work.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work under limited supervision in rugged field conditions.
• Working knowledge of large construction or mine operations fleets, including basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions and site plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to team goals.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) or other civil mining infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Mine Star, Modular Mining, or other fleet management/dispatch systems.
• Background in mine reclamation, earthwork compaction, or water management a plus.
• General mechanical aptitude is helpful.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force constantly.
