Structural Welder

Are you an experienced Structural Welder ready to take the next step in your career? Staffmark is hiring for a 2nd Shift Structural Welder in Brookshire, TX, partnering with a leading manufacturing company that values precision, collaboration, and long-term success.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hour (Based on experience)

Shift Details:

• 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM
• Some overtime or weekend work may be required.

In this hands-on role, you'll apply fundamental welding skills to fabricate and assemble steel structures using flux core 3G welding techniques. You'll work from blueprints and layouts to meet production targets, quality standards, and shop safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine layout and weld requirements.
• Set up equipment and weld metal components using MIG, flux core, or combination arc welding processes.
• Operate tools such as cutting torches and carbon arc torches to prepare and join structural components.
• Perform certified welds and meet production and safety goals consistently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to shop housekeeping standards.
• Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Follow supervisor/manager directions and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of structural welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to pass structural weld tests and employer-specific certifications.
• Proven experience with flux core 3G welding.
• Comfortable working 100% in a shop environment with exposure to welding fumes, arc flash, high noise, and debris.
• Strong verbal communication and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically capable of standing, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
