Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled machine operator (microarray) for the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am, Tuesday through Friday, with potential overtime. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in setting daily schedules, supervising machine operations, and ensuring quality production output. Responsibilities Assist in setting the daily schedule, determining priorities, and delegating tasks. Supervise and set up machines, including microarrayers, and perform changeovers, troubleshooting, and reject or defect management for daily operations. Monitor team members for quality production output using PLC controls, perform routine quality inspection checks, integrity testing, and visual inspections. Notify management of any defective products during quality checks. Perform regular data entry into ERP systems, such as Oracle. Utilize lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, Bio-safety cabinets, and degas systems for Microarrayer operations. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and quarterly maintenance activities, including cleanroom cleaning. Adhere to GMP, Safety, and PPE standards. Properly handle and discard hazardous materials. Meet daily production goals and minimize downtime. Attend department and company meetings. Adhere to the attendance policy. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation and production environments. Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and ISO standards. Experience in medical device inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in an FDA-approved cleanroom. High attention to detail. Ability to operate multiple machines. Experience wearing PPE. Why Work Here?
