PG12010, Inc. dba LD Power Automation is seeking a Field Service Engineering Technician with a High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Marine Electrical Officer engaged in repair, maintenance and routine check of bridge nautical navigation and communication equipment, and maintenance and troubleshoot system on all deck machinery and cargo gear. Must have 2 years experience in troubleshooting mechanical devices using electrical (low and high voltage) meters, calibrating equipment, hand tools, computer and safety control systems. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to travel and work in a marine environment. 40 hours per week Monday to Sunday with at least one day off per week
Duties are as follows:
- Design and documentation of shore connection system.
- Commission of shore connection system and switchboard.
- Perform maintenance including field installation, validation, and testing of electronic, electric, and mechanical components.
- Remove and replace defective parts by properly dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, examining the form and texture of parts.
- Repair, maintain and carry out routine check of bridge nautical navigation and communication equipment.
- Carryout planned maintenance system on all deck machinery and cargo gear, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical devices in operation using electrical attitude and skills in software, electronics, low and high-level voltage electrical and propulsion systems, including electrical meters, calibration equipment, handheld computer systems, hand tools, PLC, operator interface, data collection, and safety-related control systems.
