un HVAC Journeyman (Radiant-Harvest Thermal) (petaluma) . compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour D.O.E employment type: experience level: mid level job title: HVAC Journeyman We've been doing business in Sonoma County for over 30 years, and we are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Residential - Commercial HVAC Journeyman Installer with 4+ years' experience. Job sites will vary across the North Bay including Sonoma County, Marin County, and San Francisco. The position requires someone who is able to self-manage and solve problems as issues arise. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the job schedule and do on the fly alterations as/when needed. Large issues are to be reported directly to the lead or supervisor for review. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings. Knowledge and experience with Radiant and Harvest Thermal is a plus Responsibilities: Mandatory: Must have a clean driving record and be insurable on company policy * Install commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation. * Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers, clients and contractors to complete projects. * Performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in tight spaces of attics or crawl spaces * Customer service and interaction on sites with high level of professionalism * Maintaining a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards * Handling and storing materials * Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and hoisting materials * Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, bringing problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director, or HR Manager Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) - 4+ years of proven on the job experience (some gaps in work history understandable) - Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation. - Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanics. - Experience or willingness to learn multiple software's to track status and billing - Knowledge of Radiant and Harvest Thermal installation (would be a plus) - Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, squat, crawl and stand for periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. - Excellent attention to detail. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record (record will be pulled) This is an offer of Full-Time employment: 36-40+ hours per week depending on season Benefits after probationary period o401K o401k matching oCompany truck oHealth insurance oPaid time off We are an E.O.E and encourage all qualified candidates to apply Principals only.
