Local Artist/Woodworker/Fabricator Seeks PT Intern/Apprentice

un Local Artist/Woodworker/Fabricator Seeks PT Intern/Apprentice (Roxbury, NY) 53678 Rt. 30 no pay I am a local artist/woodworker, with a fabrication shop located in Roxbury, NY. I primarily build large scale are art pieces for music festivals, and tour around with them during the summer months. I am looking for a young, motivated, multi-talented, hard working individual, with some minor woodworking or fine craft experience. The gig is unpaid with a transportation stipend. However if things go well, it could turn into a paid PT job. I would need help 1-2 days per week, and you would need your own transportation. This gig is for someone who wants to gain more knowledge and experience in the woodworking/fabrication world. I have a fully equipped professional shop, with a lot of machines to learn on. From CNC milling, Laser engraving, Painting, Prototyping, and general woodworking. We are always working on something new and interesting...So being a good "problem solver" is a plus too. Also, it's just me in the shop most of the time, so I try to maintain a very "chill" and stress free environment...so keep that in mind. BUT more importantly, I am looking for someone who I can vibe with and who I feel would be a good asset.
