Position Summary

Responsibilities for this position include supporting the sales managers, sales representatives and potential clients by providing equipment and design recommendations, technical data and budgetary costs, and other supporting information. Career paths include moving to sales, project management or engineering design departments.
Essential Functions
Provide timely response to requests for sales materials, technical information and miscellaneous support from company sales reps and customers
Prepare bid documents for final submittal
Prepare proposals and RFQ submittals
Re technical specifications and drawings as needed
Make sales calls and conduct Technical Sales Presentations to both engineers and end users.
Assist clients and representatives with equipment selection and layout
Send information packages and literature to customers and representatives
Follow up on sales leads, web inquiries, and other related inquiries
Update sales database, run reports and update missing data
Track pre-bid checklist (project specs, competitor data, bid form)
Requirements
Up to 10% travel in North America
Attitude: Ability to work in a high energy environment with limited direction and supervision
Qualifications
Perform work accurately and thoroughly on a consistent basis
Experience with rotating mechanical equipment
Communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing
Ability to complete many different tasks within given deadlines
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting program is a plus
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, representatives and engineers
Ability to re detailed project specifications and drawings
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline from an accredited university
3+ years related experience preferred
