Job Description:

Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Type: Contract-to-Direct

Pay: Among the highest rates in Florida

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

Join a growing team at a top-tier aviation facility offering contract-to-direct hire opportunities, highly competitive pay, and long-term career potential. This is a safety-sensitive position under FAA DOT regulations, requiring reliability and technical excellence.

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

3rd Shift: May be added later this year

Overtime: Common now but expected to decrease as the team fills out

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft sheet metal work (5-10+ years preferred)

Airframe license preferred, but highly skilled unlicensed mechanics will be considered

Must be eligible for FAA DOT drug testing (safety-sensitive compliance)
