Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
• Managing and overseeing all phases of construction projects, from design to close-out
• Estimating labor, materials and equipment costs, as well as preparing bids and contracts
• Overseeing contractors, subcontractors and vendors
• Negotiating contract documents, billing contracts and dispute resolution
• Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications and standards
• Participating in client meetings and site visits
Essential job functions of the Project Manager:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel in all phases of the project
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Ensure that each project meets deadlines, budget, and specifications
Project Manager Skills:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. Procore, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, procedures, and standards
• Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to motivate personnel and manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, etc.
