The Construction Quality Control Manager will develop project Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Plans, procedures, manage Quality assurance inspections and records, and develop and manage corrective action plans for a large Aviation project in Cleveland, OH. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Develop Project Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Plans
- Assess environmental concerns, regulatory compliance issues, or logistical constraints
- Manage Design/Builders and vendors in the execution of all work packages
- Coordinate designs and design requirements with CLE departments and CLE projects outside the TMDP
- Coordinate design requirements with stakeholder agencies (including, but not limited to the FAA, CBP, TSA, City) and tenant airline station and operations management
- Ensure all federal, state or local compliance is met prior to a project commencing
- Manage Design Approval process and secure required stakeholder design approvals
- Set up projects and management of all project documents, information, correspondence, and reporting within the Department-provided PROCORE project management information system.
- Manage and coordinate with the Department and Cleveland Planning Commission in development and execution of Public Art Program
- Hold Construction progress meetings and provide reporting
- Report to EPM and Department executive management
- Prepare submittals, Request for Information (RFI), and change order documentation
- Provide monthly invoice and financial status reporting
- Schedule progress reporting
- Provide project progress photography
- Implement QC Plan and manage QC testing schedule
- Coordinate all construction with Department operations to minimize disruption to airport operations
**Knowledge & Skills Required:**
Knowledge and experience planning, managing & coordinating all aspects of project, scope and cost for multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and re-evaluate scope throughout the project and recommend adjustments when necessary.
Experience collaborating with cost management group to provide accurate and timely cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
Experience with Value Engineering
Ability to exercise creativity and resourcefulness in managing the project effectively in a compressed timeframe.
Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to understand how your role contributes to the organization's goals.
