Mechanical Engineer

Provide mechanical engineering services to the business unit, which includes well operations and technical support. Prepare technical documents, including data sheets and requirements for material procurement, testing and requisitions; report all modifications to management; and ensure proper document management. Ensure upfront availability of consumables and procure sufficient spares for uninterrupted operations. Conduct and/or review site inspection and surveys of existing facilities to identify actual job/project requirements and report the same to management. Monitor rig crews, scheduling, operational performance, scope of work, prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with multiple service contractors and vendors; review and solicit feedback on well production and issues causing deferment.

performance and

compliance with technical specifications, engineering standards, project requirements, scheduling goals and anticipated costs.

Participate in clarification meetings with contractors and Vendors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and requirements. Work with management to develop operational plans, monitor logistics and improve rig workflow, prepare cost estimates, review invoices, and monitor actual expenses. Coordinate with other senior engineers to ensure engineering conformity with user requirements. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, and

machinery

issues; test and operate tools; review and submit requests for preventive maintenance measures for equipment, repair, or replacement of equipment.
